Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by PadPaws. By booking any service with PadPaws, you agree to the following terms.

 

1. About PadPaws
PadPaws provides professional pet care services including:

 

Home Boarding
Doggy Day Care
Dog Walking
Small Animal Visits
Puppy Care/Socialisation
Pet Bereavement Support
Dog Behaviour Practioner
Other pet care services as agreed
PadPaws operates in accordance with current animal welfare legislation and holds the appropriate Animal Activity Licence for licensed services.

 

2. Booking
Bookings are not confirmed until accepted by PadPaws.

 

A meet and greet will be required before accepting new clients. All Home Boarding and Doggy Daycare services will require a trial period prior to booking

 

PadPaws reserves the right to refuse any booking where it believes the service would not be in the best interests of the animal, other animals in our care or our staff.

 

3. Health Requirements
Owners confirm that:

 

their pet is fit and healthy
vaccinations are current where appropriate
flea and worm treatments are up to date where appropriate
any medical conditions have been fully disclosed
all behavioural issues, including aggression, anxiety or escape tendencies, have been disclosed
Failure to disclose relevant information may result in services being withdrawn without refund.

 

4. Emergency Veterinary Treatment
Should your pet become ill or injured whilst in our care, PadPaws will make every reasonable effort to contact you.

 

If you cannot be contacted, you authorise PadPaws to obtain veterinary treatment considered necessary for your pet's welfare.

 

All veterinary costs remain the responsibility of the owner.

 

PadPaws will always act in the best interests of your pet.

 

5. Behaviour
For the safety of all animals and people, owners must disclose any history of:

 

aggression
biting
resource guarding
excessive barking
destructive behaviour
separation anxiety
escape attempts
other behavioural concerns
PadPaws reserves the right to terminate any service if a pet presents an unacceptable safety risk.

 

6. Home Boarding & Doggy Day Care
PadPaws provides a home-from-home environment designed to meet each dog's physical and emotional needs.

 

Owners agree that:

 

dogs may interact with compatible dogs where appropriate
normal interaction between animals may occasionally result in minor changes to visible appearance through physical contact
every reasonable precaution will be taken to minimise risk
PadPaws complies with all applicable licensing requirements relating to home boarding and day care.

 

7. Dog Walking
Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken, dog walking involves inherent risks.

 

Owners acknowledge that dogs may encounter:

 

wildlife
uneven ground
changing weather
other dogs/animals
members of the public
PadPaws will assess each dog individually and determine whether lead walking or off-lead exercise is appropriate.

 

Off-lead exercise will only take place with the owner's prior consent and where PadPaws considers it safe.

 

8. Keys and Property Access
Where house keys are provided:

 

they will be stored securely
personal details will not be attached to keys
keys will only be used for agreed services
Owners are responsible for ensuring PadPaws has suitable access to the property.

 

9. Cancellations
Owners will adhere to PadPaws cancellation policy providing the required notice period if cancelling.

 

PadPaws reserves the right to charge cancellation fees where the required notice period prevents the booking being reallocated.

 

Bookings cancelled during an agreed service period will not be eligible for a refund.

 

10. Payment
Payment terms will be confirmed when booking.

 

Invoices should be paid by the agreed due date.

 

PadPaws reserves the right to suspend future bookings where outstanding balances remain unpaid.

 

11. Collection of Pets
Owners agree to collect pets at the agreed time.

 

Late collections may incur additional charges.

 

Where a pet is not collected and the owner cannot be contacted, PadPaws will continue to provide appropriate care until alternative arrangements can be made. Additional charges will apply.

 

12. Photographs
PadPaws may take photographs or videos of pets whilst in our care.

 

These may be used on our website or social media unless owners request otherwise.

 

13. Liability
Whilst PadPaws takes every reasonable care, owners acknowledge that working with animals carries unavoidable risks.

 

PadPaws will not be liable for:

 

illness arising from undisclosed medical conditions
injury caused by undisclosed behavioural issues
loss resulting from inaccurate information supplied by the owner
events outside our reasonable control
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where this cannot legally be excluded.

 

14. Force Majeure
PadPaws shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, government restrictions, illness or emergencies.

 

15. Privacy
Any personal information collected will only be used for providing our services, maintaining records, communicating with clients and complying with legal obligations.

 

We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

 

16. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible.

 

We aim to resolve concerns promptly, professionally and fairly.

 

17. Changes to these Terms
PadPaws reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

 

The latest version published on our website will apply to future bookings.

 

18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

 

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
